Stanserhorn is a mountain peak in Central Switzerland, offering a spectacular view of lakes, alpine meadows, and mountains in every direction. To reach the top at 1850 m, you first ride an old-timer funicular train, then a cable car, where you can stand on the open-air roof while you ride up, a thrilling experience. A wide view unfolds at the top. You can see the Pilatus and Lake Lucerne in the north, and the Bernese Alps in the south. Also there's a small mountain marmot zoo where you can watch the animals up close.
